Chris Birch Surfboards
Chris has been shaping boards since 978 while employed at Natural Art Surfboards in Cocoa Beach, FL. Over the next decade, he learned every aspect of board building and fine-tuned his craft. Starting as a polisher, to pin liner and glosser, next was airbrushing, and finally to shaping full-time by the late 1980’s. We stock some of Chris’ more popular models including the Accelerator, Cousin Dupree, and Mini Chauffeur.
Catherine Girard Surfboards
Our featured female shaper! Originally from Quebec, Canada, Catherine moved to Florida about 8 years ago and spent 2 years in California learning to shape under Gregg Tally. Every board that she builds is 100% handmade from start to finish, and no two are the same. She’s currently working out of a friend’s shop in Boca Raton (customs paused while she travels Europe).
